We brought our first three
myotonic goats to our California ranch in 1997. Our foundation
stock came directly from Tami Lash of Lashes Unique Animals (LUA).
Since then we have added goats from the following herds: Little Big Man
(LBM), Onion Creek Ranch (OCR), Bending Tree Ranch (BTR). In 2007
we moved to a small farm in Missouri and added goats from All Seasons
Fainting Goats (ASG) and Driftwood Farms (DWF).
We are excited to grow and settle into our new location where we will be able to graze our herd on more than 10 acres of pasture and supplement with treats from
our garden. We take pride in producing a hearty low maintenance
all purpose goat, that can thrive when raised in the pasture.
Our herd is of the traditional type medium size with a solid frame. I have horned
and polled goats. We could have young kids disbudded upon request with a paid deposit,
but I prefer the horns they make great handles and they are such a docile breed that horns are rarely a problem. I like lots of different colors in my herd. My kids range in color from black to black and white and chocolate brown, solid color, large spots, small spots and tri-colored. |
