When we first began our adventure with farming I used a sentimental name given to me by my Grandfather. As I began to grow and learn more about raising animals I wanted to use my own identity and not one handed to me by family. So we have changed from Lazy B Ranch to Boer'D Stiff. Today we currently have a handful Myotonic goats "AKA: Stiffies", from quality herds of respected breeders scattered around the country. We take pride in producing a hearty low maintenance all purpose goat, that can thrive when raised in the pasture. My "Stiffies" are of the traditional type medium size with a solid frame. I have horned
and polled goats. I could have young kids disbudded upon request with a paid deposit,
but I prefer the horns they make great handles and they are such a docile breed that horns are rarely a problem. I like lots of different colors in my herd. My kids range in color from black to black and white and chocolate brown, solid color, large spots, small spots and tri-colored.
